Although primarily designed for Vertical Jigging with jigs from 100g to 180g (where its Regular-Fast action gives the jig an exceptionally natural, progressive movement without tiring the wrist), it performs equally exemplarily in heavy bottom fishing techniques (Bottom Game). It is ideal for fishing with Zoka, heavy deep-sea lines, and also for Light Trolling with a downrigger or live bait. The Cross Wrap blank's backbone is simply inexhaustible: when you hook a large bottom fish (grouper, dusky grouper) or a powerful amberjack, the rod will bend progressively, transferring all the pressure to the lower section, allowing you to safely "unstick" the fish from the rock.
