The architectural design of the SIM Surf has been studied based on the real needs of Surf Casting. The special enlargement/cavity for the reels starts exactly 40 cm from the base of the holdall. This clever arrangement ensures that surf-sized reels (8000, 10000 or 14000) will "fit" perfectly into the compartments without any pressure being applied to the rod seats or pick-ups. It features three completely separate sections (compartments) with a cavity height of 22 cm, allowing each rod to be isolated to eliminate the chances of guides (rings) hitting each other or lines and braids getting tangled.

For comfortable and effortless transport of your equipment, even on difficult paths or large sandy beaches, the holdall is equipped with large, ergonomic backpack straps that convert it into a backpack, distributing the weight correctly on the shoulders. At the same time, it has two small, reinforced handles for quick movements and easy loading and unloading from the car. SIM ENGINEERING has also provided for the transport of accessories, incorporating two large external zippered pockets (30 cm and 60 cm long), which offer ample space for the rod rest (spike), tackle boxes, toolboxes or other essential accessories.

PRACTICAL ADVICE

The SIM Surf 3-Rod Holdall with a length of 175 cm is ideal for three-piece Surf Casting rods with an overall length of up to 4.20m or 4.50m (since the single section of a three-piece 4.50m rod is approximately 155-158cm, it fits with ample comfort). When placing your rigged rods, make sure to fully retract the reel handle (or loosen it so it folds), thus reducing the bulk and ensuring the zipper closes completely loosely. Maintenance Tip: The Surf Casting environment is full of moisture and salt, which are the biggest enemies of zippers. After each fishing trip, make sure to clean the holdall of any sand residue. Periodically, spray the zippers with a little silicone spray or beeswax. This will keep their operation incredibly smooth and prevent "sticking" from salt oxidation, keeping your holdall like new for many years.
