Thanks to the Countdown® philosophy, the squid jig sinks at a perfectly controlled rate (≈30 cm / 1 ft per second), allowing you to reach exactly the desired depth and fish consistently within the strike zone, without the lure moving out of range.

This allows you to quickly and consistently locate squid throughout the water column, whether they are moving above the seaweed, or holding low on the bottom.
