The major revolution in the new Crossfire LT 2500-XH is found in the DS4 Airdrive rotor and the compact Airdrive Solid Bail Arm – high-engineering technologies previously exclusively found in flagship models, such as the Daiwa Exist. MAIN TECHNOLOGICAL FEATURES

• Light & Tough (LT) Concept: Low weight is a key concern for any reel. The LT series combines resistance to stress (T = Tough) with minimal weight (L = Light). In the 2500-XH size, the reel weighs just 250g, ensuring a perfectly balanced and comfortable setup.
• Airdrive Design & DS4 Rotor: The new Airdrive Rotor, made from Zaion/DS4 material, has been redesigned with a perfectly round shape. Achieving a 16% weight reduction in this model (2500), it virtually eliminates rotational inertia. Its light, precise rotation and the Airdrive Solid Bail Arm set new standards in its category.
• ATD Type-L Drag System: A very important element for the Spinning technique. ATD Type-L technology offers exceptionally soft and progressive drag, which automatically "listens" to line tension and adjusts resistance on its own, even at the moment of a sudden hookset. In combination with the rod's parabolic action, it leaves no room for unhooking on the most superficial bites.
• Tough Digigear: A brand new gear design philosophy (a further evolution of Digigear II) that digitally calculates every detail during toothed rotation, as well as the impact of unpredictable forces. It enables absolutely silent operation and instant response as soon as you touch the handle.
• LC-ABS Spool (Long Cast): The advanced aluminum spool aims to reduce resistance and achieve smoother line release by making the contact edge protrude outwards. This minimizes contact between the line and the edge, significantly increasing casting distance compared to older ABS II spools.

The Daiwa 26 Crossfire LT 2500-XH is an exceptionally fast model (XH - Extra High Gear) that retrieves 87cm of line with each full turn of the handle. This fast retrieve makes it ideal for **Light/Medium Spinning** and **Eging**, as it allows you to instantly pick up slack line after intense jerks of your squid jig or lure. It pairs perfectly with PE #0.6 to #0.8 braid for Eging and PE #1.0 for Spinning. Thanks to the 5 kg ATD Type-L linear drag, when you hook a large squid, a sea bass, or a saddled bream, the reel will release line progressively and with absolute precision, eliminating the chances of tearing the squid's soft body or breaking your leader.
