The unique performance of Saltiga X12 is based on a package of four innovative Daiwa technologies. With UVF (Ultra Volume Fiber) technology, PE fibers are compressed to a degree that increases the density of the line per millimeter. Its base consists of the TOUGH PE structure, which uses thicker and perfectly circular fibers for immense long-term durability. The biggest upgrade comes with the Evo Silicone 3 (+Si3) coating, which creates an extremely smooth silicone layer on the surface, increasing abrasion resistance by 30% compared to the previous +Si2 generation. Additionally, the Muscle Braiding technique provides superior shock absorption.

The Daiwa Saltiga Durasensor X12 is a highly specialized braid. Due to its velvety, perfectly circular and smooth surface, it glides through the guides without the slightest noise, offering an increase in casting distance that will impress any spinning or shore jigging angler. The PE #1.5 and PE #2.0 diameters are ideal for heavy Spinning, Light Shore Jigging, Eging (from boat), and Light Jigging, providing incredible feel of the lure or jig. Larger diameters (PE #3.0 to PE #6.0) are the top choice for the toughest boat techniques, such as Vertical Jigging, Slow Pitch Jigging, Heavy Casting for large amberjacks, and Popping / Stickbait fishing for tuna. The color changes (Multicolor) allow you to accurately measure the depth your jig descends, targeting exactly the depth shown by your fish finder. Note: Because it is a pure 12-strand braid, it is extremely silky. Make sure to tie careful and properly tightened connection knots (such as the FG knot) with your Fluorocarbon leader to avoid any slipping.
