If the waters are crystal clear and there is strong sunlight, transparent shades with glitter (SG, GRG, TSPK) or natural ones like AYU and LC (Eel) perform best as they don't spook the fish. In low light conditions (dawn, dusk, or night fishing in lit ports), choose the absolute white (PW), the classic Red Head (RH) or the phosphorescent (LG) which you can "charge" with a UV flashlight for extra shine.
