The Colmic Rolling + Fast Link Snap is one of the most useful tools for beach and rock fishing. In Surf Casting, you can use sizes 18 and 20 at the bottom of your rig (URFE or double rig) for instant weight changes depending on currents (e.g., changing from a simple pear weight to a pyramid or lead with hooks without cutting knots). Smaller sizes, such as 22 and 24, are ideal for placement at the end of your shock leader, allowing you to change leaders "on the fly" during a competition or when fish are feeding actively. In Eging (squid fishing), size 22 or 24 connects perfectly to the front eye of the squid jig. Tip for absolute security: Although the Fast Link design prevents automatic opening, to have 100% certainty against very violent casts or when fishing in areas with a lot of seaweed, you can slide a small piece of silicone tube (1mm or 1.5mm diameter) over the Fast Link connection after securing the leader. This will completely "lock" the snap and provide an absolutely anti-tangle, aerodynamic profile during casting.
